Year 2
Welcome to Year 2!
The classes in Year 2 are Pine Class and Acer Class.
Pine Class: Miss Elliott (class teacher)
Acer Class: Mrs Woodcock (class teacher) and Mrs Wood (Wednesday class teacher)
Please remember to check the Class Dojo pages regularly for everyday updates, photos and reminders of what is happening in Year 2.

Important Information
Autumn 1
PE: Tuesday
Forest School: Wednesday
Please remember to bring into school:
- A coat.
- A water bottle with water.
- A book bag with your reading book and diary.
- A lunch box if you are not having a school dinner.

Reading
The children will bring home two reading books. One book will be their reading book which is aligned with their phonic knowledge and the other book will be a 'Reading for Pleasure' book. It is important that the children read their reading book at least 3 times a week and that any reading at home is recorded in their reading records. The 'Reading for Pleasure' book is a book that can be shared at home for enjoyment so that children develop a love for reading.
